This week you could say is the peak of my art school career. My senior exhibition has arrived and I’m so excited. I’ve been waiting years for this. I was more nervous about installing than anything because I don’t have much experience hanging art, or anything for that matter (you’ll find very little on my apartment walls.) I’m exhibiting with a group of 10 other senior drawing and painting majors, and over the process we’ve had to work together to create a title, branding images, posters, postcards… and even details like title cards, wall spacing between us, and food to serve at the exhibition. I can say it came together really well, and I can’t wait to show my friends, family, and faculty what I’ve been doing. I can’t believe it’s come already…. this means I have a month until graduation. I will soon l have my bachelors degree in fine art. It’s almost surreal! Let me tell you, the weeks have been dragging on… but I have a feeling I will miss it, no matter how burnt out I feel. Now to figure out… what’s next?
